Global Trade Services Analyst (Hybrid Opportunity)
Your Opportunity
The global trade services analyst is responsible for driving a reduction in costly errors in USDA, export and import documentation for international shipments in excess of 1.2 billion pounds of product each year. The position will create the processes and procedures to ensure an acceptable level of accuracy to comply with all governmental and company requirements. This position must direct 3rd party providers in the correct methods, ensure compliance, and create a focal point by which adherence and compliance is met while minimizing costs and delays. This position will develop and create the reporting tools for international compliance. The position requires an understanding of company’s operations, sales, logistics, export and import compliance as well as costs.
Salary Range
$54,000 - $90,500
Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for the SAP GTS application. Handles promotion and development of GTS, its role in exports and the growth of the application to include AES filing, import goods to the US. Creates policies and procedures for exporting product.
- Creates, implements, and audits all policies, regulations, and requirements set forth by USDA, importing country and the company. Drives reduction in errors and costs while improving compliance to these regulations and requirements. Eliminates all non-value-added activities. Lower documentation costs. Improves timeliness of completion. Creates the strategy by which 3rd party providers and/or in company providers exceeds customer and company goals and objectives. Acts as administrator and super user of the PHIS export module as well as the USDA export library.
- Directs 3rd party documentations departments to meet customer, importing country, and company requirements. Audits for accuracy and timeliness. Reduces delays and costs in the creation of these documents.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business, international business, or international relations and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Experience in international logistics or international customer service within the protein industry, highly preferred.
- Experience working directly with USDA export requirements for proteins highly preferred.
- GTS and SAP experience preferred.
- Strong critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work through complex, unstructured problems.
- Capable of communicating and expressing ideas clearly and concisely, in both written and verbal formats.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and adaptability.

- Ability to influence change.
